2023 Software Upgrade Clinic

Matthews Hyundai and General Manager, Rob Guarente made the local headlines in December 2023 for hosting the first-ever software upgrade clinic for impacted Hyundai vehicles. 
On Monday, December 11th to Friday December 15th our newly remodeled Hyundai Dealership in East Syracuse, NY shut down all other services to prepare for the clinic. The software upgrade added an immobilizer to the vehicle, which was left out on many models on certain Kia & Hyundai vehicles and as a result made these vehicles able to be stolen.  

General Manager, Rob said: "We care, we care about the customers, our future, the future business of Hyundai. We want to fix this problem." This is a true example of how Matthews Means More. Every Day. Every Way.
